I took students from Youth and Government class they stay three or four days. I either take them or I pick them up. Nice place. I’m a school bus driver for Union City Community Schools.
Clean place. Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking space. Hot tub was clean and warm. The interior of the building had a modern look and was under further renovation in the lobby but that wasn't of any inconvenience. Victor, at the reception. Friendly and helpful while being respectful and professional at the same time. Location - close to the outer periphery of Lansing but that wasn't much of a concern for us. Microwave wasn't there in the room but a lot of nice hotels don't have one in the room.
Crowne Plaza is always has friendly staff who will pamper your family and kids. I have stayed at this location many different times throughout the years. Right now (November 2025) the hotel is going through some updates. However, it's still worth the stay. I love the new look and my room was fantastic.
We really like this place. The staff is great, the food is excellent. Rooms are newly updated. We hold multiple day meetings and never need to leave the hotel. New restaurant is beautiful !
We had a reservation during MSU’s Parent’s weekend for a King room. However we had a situation arise that day that warranted for our son to stay overnight with us. Katie went above and beyond to help accommodate our needs even when the hotel was at capacity. When we arrived at the hotel after a stressful day, she was so warm and welcoming! She even went out of her way to make sure we didn’t need anything else to help our stay more comfortable! The chocolate chip cookies were an added treat! I can’t say enough about Katie and how she made a stressful and hard day a lot better! Also, the rooms at this hotel are being updated and we were fortunate to stay in one that night. They are clean, beautifully organized and super comfy!
Check in was very easy and very accommodating since I had an issue getting into town. The room is very clean and smells nice. The bed is very comfortable and probably one of the better sleeps I’ve had in a while. Housekeeping is very attentive even when you’re staying for a few days. The amenities are great and options are endless. Highly recommended for all sorts of stays.
I stayed at this hotel for work for a few days. Everything was very nicely kept and is being remodeled. I went to the lobby late the first night to grab water and they had just cleaned everything up so the water dispenser had been cleaned and put away. An employee Joe noticed me searching for water and actually came out to take and fill my water for me. Amazing service!
This place is incredible! The staff is fantastic. I left my wallet, and when I called, the front desk representative named Oliver was amazing. I drove an hour back, and everything was intact. I stay here every year for our clinic, and I look forward to continuing to stay here. The rooms are always clean, and it's a nice stay.WONDERFUL ESTABLISHMENT!
